RaiseTool uses cookies to improve user experience, maintain temporary session stability, and safeguard analytics. This document explains what cookies we use, why we use them, and your choices regarding cookies.
1. What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device by web servers. They help websites remember information about your visit to streamline navigation and keep configurations persistent.
2. How RaiseTool Uses Cookies
We strictly use cookies for essential utility routing and anonymous tracking. The cookies used are categorized as follows:
- Essential Session Cookies: We utilize encrypted, signed cookies containing cryptographic session IDs to link your client session to your temporary workspace context. This is required to process files and prevent security session hijacking. These cookies expire after 10 minutes of inactivity.
- Security Tokens (CSRF): Safe verification tokens are stored to prevent cross-site request forgery attacks on action forms.
- Theme Preference: We store your dark/light theme choice (
theme) inlocalStorage(a client-side cookie equivalent) to persist your workspace UI selection.
3. Managing and Deleting Cookies
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences. If you disable cookies, please note that you will not be able to utilize active workspaces or run multi-step server processing workflows. You can clear your temporary session cookies at any time by deleting cookies inside your browser settings or by clearing your workspace assets.
